Nicoletta is an architect and designer whose work is shaped by the evolving relationship between people, space, and culture. With a background in both art and architecture, she creates immersive environments that blend aesthetics with function, fostering a sense of intimacy and connection at every scale.
Her approach is rooted in the belief that architecture is more than just structure—it is an experience. By thoughtfully integrating materiality, light, and movement, she designs spaces that subtly influence how we see, feel, and interact with our surroundings.
Nicoletta holds a Bachelor of Architecture with Honors from Syracuse University and has worked on a diverse range of projects, from residential and commercial spaces to urban interventions. She continues to push the boundaries of architecture, exploring new ways to enhance the human experience through design.
Ernesto’s practice and teaching are shaped by his professional and cultural background, with a focus on the themes of uncertainty and crisis. He approaches design as a process informed by the past, present and future, embracing intuitive and exploratory methods. Rather than viewing uncertainty and doubt as limitations, he sees them as opportunities to question, learn and reinterpret.
He believes the classroom is a space for critical dialogue and a celebration of diverse voices. Ernesto holds a Master of Architecture II from the Harvard Graduate School of Design, an MSc in Sustainable Design (with distinction) from the University of Edinburgh and a Bachelor of Architecture from Universidad San Francisco de Quito.
